Welcome back to your comprehensive guide to the Stardew Valley Community Center bundles! We’ve already explored the Crafts Room, Pantry, and Fish Tank bundles, and now it’s time to tackle the Bulletin Board. While the Boiler Room unlocks sooner, the Bulletin Board presents a more diverse and engaging set of challenges, which is why we’re covering it before combining the Boiler Room with the Vault and completion details in our upcoming final guide.
The Bulletin Board becomes accessible after you’ve successfully completed any three individual bundles within the Community Center. Unlike the previous rooms focusing on specific skills, the Bulletin Board demands a broader range of items, drawing from various skills and even a touch of miscellaneous foraging and gathering. This bundle is key to deepening your friendship with the villagers of Pelican Town, indirectly making it a “Friendship Bundle Stardew Guide” in its own right.
If you’re playing with the “Remixed Bundles” option enabled (selected during game setup), you’ll encounter a randomized selection of five bundles from the options below. This adds an element of surprise and replayability, as the required bundles aren’t guaranteed to be the same each playthrough. Always check which bundles are active in your game before you start collecting items!
Except for the Dye Bundle, which has a unique selection mechanic, all other bundles listed below are consistent every time they appear, whether in classic or remixed mode. To make this guide as user-friendly as possible, we’ve listed each bundle set in alphabetical order.
Chef’s Bundle: A Culinary Collection
Classic and Remixed Versions: 6 out of 6 Items Required
Inspired by Gus’s culinary expertise, the Chef’s Bundle focuses on food-related items, perfect for aspiring chefs in Stardew Valley. Completing this bundle will bring you closer to the heart of Pelican Town’s culinary scene and improve your friendship with Gus!
- Maple Syrup: A product of patience, Maple Syrup is obtained by placing a tapper on a Maple Tree. It takes approximately 9-10 days to produce. For easy access to wild Maple Trees, check the Bus Stop area or the Cindersap Forest. As mentioned in our Crafts Room guide, these off-farm locations are ideal for tapping trees without cluttering your farm.
- Fiddlehead Fern: This foraged item, also highlighted in our Crafts Room guide, is primarily found in the Secret Woods during the Summer season. You can also discover them on prehistoric-themed floors within the Skull Cavern in the Desert.
- Truffle: To acquire Truffles, you’ll need a Barn upgraded to at least the Deluxe level to house pigs. Once you have pigs, ensure they are fed daily, and they will randomly unearth Truffles when outdoors. Remember that farm animals stay inside during the Winter season, so plan your Truffle hunting accordingly for the warmer months.
- Poppy: Remember the Poppy from the Pantry bundles? Poppy seeds need to be planted in Summer and take a full week (7 days) to reach maturity.
- Maki Roll: This cooked dish requires a kitchen, which is unlocked by upgrading your farmhouse at least once through Robin. The Maki Roll recipe is learned from watching the Queen of Sauce TV program on Summer 21 of Year 1. To make it, you’ll need any type of fish, a piece of Seaweed, and Rice.
- Fried Egg: A simple yet essential cooked dish! The Fried Egg recipe is known from the start of the game, making it readily accessible. It requires any single chicken egg (Dinosaur Eggs excluded).
Children’s Bundle: Treats for Jas and Vincent
Remixed Version Only: 3 out of 4 Items Required
This bundle is clearly designed with Jas and Vincent in mind, featuring sweet treats and a toy. Completing this bundle is a sweet way to acknowledge the younger residents of Pelican Town and build your friendship with the community as a whole.
- Ancient Doll: This is classified as an artifact, making it relatively rare. You can unearth Ancient Dolls by digging at artifact spots in the Mountains, at the Bus Stop, in the Forest, or within Pelican Town. They can also occasionally be found within fishing treasure chests or in treasure troves (primarily obtained by trading Omni Geodes to the Desert Trader).
- Ice Cream: While technically a cooked dish, “cooked” might be an overstatement for Ice Cream! The recipe is mailed to you by Jodi once you reach seven hearts of friendship with her. It requires any type of Milk and Sugar. Alternatively, you can purchase Ice Cream from Alex’s stand near the Museum in Pelican Town (bottom-right corner) on most sunny days during Summer.
- Cookie: Who can resist a Cookie? The recipe for these delightful treats is learned during Evelyn’s four-heart friendship event. A single batch requires one Egg, Sugar, and Wheat Flour. You might also find Cookies in the trash can outside Evelyn’s house in town. Evelyn might also mail you cookies as a friendly gesture. If you are playing as a male character, your in-game mother will send you a Cookie once your total earnings exceed 5,000g.
- 10 Salmonberries: A straightforward item to gather! Salmonberries grow on bushes throughout Stardew Valley from Spring 15th to 18th.
For the Children’s Bundle, the food items are usually the easiest to acquire, especially if you haven’t yet found an Ancient Doll.
Dye Bundle: A Colorful Collection for the Community
Classic and Remixed Versions: 6 out of 6 Items Required
The Dye Bundle always follows a paired format. For each color pairing listed below, you’ll need to contribute one item. In Classic bundles, it will always be the first item listed in each pair.
- Red Pair:
- Red Mushroom: Red Mushrooms can be found in special mushroom floors in the Mines, in the Secret Woods during Summer and Fall, or in the farm cave if you chose the mushroom-farming option.
- Beet: Travel to the Desert during Fall and purchase Beet seeds from Sandy. They take six days to grow.
- Purple Pair A:
- Sea Urchin: These spiky shells are found on the Beach. They spawn on the right side of the beach, which is accessible after repairing the bridge with 300 wood.
- Amaranth: Another Fall crop, Amaranth seeds are available at Pierre’s General Store or JojaMart in Pelican Town. They grow in seven days and are harvested with a scythe.
- Yellow Pair:
- Sunflower: Sunflowers are flowers grown in Summer and Fall, taking eight days to bloom. Sunflower seeds are cheaper at JojaMart.
- Starfruit: The most valuable crop in Stardew Valley! Starfruit seeds are sold in the Desert. They grow in 13 days during Summer. You also receive one Starfruit seed for donating 15 items to the Museum.
- Green Pair:
- Duck Feather: Duck Feathers come from Ducks. You need a Coop upgraded to at least the Big Coop level to house ducks. With high friendship, ducks will occasionally produce Duck Feathers instead of eggs.
- Cactus Fruit: Found by foraging in the Desert. Alternatively, Sandy sells Cactus Fruit seeds that can be grown indoors if you’ve completed the Pantry bundles and unlocked the Greenhouse.
- Blue Pair:
- Aquamarine: Aquamarines are occasionally found while mining in the Mines. They can also be rarely obtained from fishing treasure chests.
- Blueberry: A profitable Summer crop, Blueberries grow in 13 days.
- Purple Pair B:
- Red Cabbage: Red Cabbage is a Summer crop, taking nine days to grow. However, Red Cabbage seeds are not available until Year 2. To obtain them earlier, check the Traveling Cart in Cindersap Forest on Fridays and Sundays.
- Iridium Bar: Crafted by smelting five Iridium Ore and one Coal in a furnace. Iridium Ore is most commonly found in the Skull Cavern in the Desert, but can also rarely be found in Magma and Omni Geodes, or very rarely in the Mines at level 100+ or in the Quarry.
Enchanter’s Bundle: Mystical Items for the Wizard
Classic and Remixed Versions: 4 out of 4 Items Required
This bundle’s connection to the Wizard is mysterious, but these items are needed nonetheless! Perhaps they are ingredients for a secret spell, contributing to the magical atmosphere of Stardew Valley and your friendship with the Wizard.
- Oak Resin: Obtain Oak Resin by placing a tapper on an Oak Tree. It takes about seven days to produce. As with Maple Syrup, tapping Oak Trees away from your farm is advisable to prevent lightning strikes from damaging your tappers and trees.
- Wine: Any type of Wine will satisfy this requirement. Simply place any fruit into a Keg. It takes approximately seven days to ferment into Wine.
- Rabbit’s Foot: To get a Rabbit’s Foot, you need a Coop upgraded to the Deluxe level to house Rabbits. Pet your Rabbits daily to increase friendship, as higher friendship levels improve the chances of them producing Rabbit’s Feet.
- Pomegranate: Pomegranate trees take 28 days to mature and bear fruit in the Fall. Plant a Pomegranate sapling before the end of Summer to harvest in Fall. If you chose the fruit bat option for your farm cave, bats may occasionally leave Pomegranates there. Once the Pantry is completed, fruit trees can be planted in the Greenhouse and will produce fruit year-round when fully grown.
Field Research Bundle: Demetrius’s Scientific Specimens
Classic and Remixed Versions: 4 out of 4 Items Required
Local scientist Demetrius requires a variety of specimens for his research. Fortunately, none of these items are particularly difficult to obtain, making this a relatively easy bundle to complete and strengthen your friendship with Demetrius.
- Purple Mushroom: Making its third appearance in our bundle guides, the Purple Mushroom can be found on special mushroom floors in the Mines and in the farm cave if you chose the mushroom option.
- Nautilus Shell: These ancient shells are found on the Beach, but only during the Winter season. Be careful not to confuse the Nautilus Shell with the Nautilus Fossil artifact.
- Chub: Chubs are very common fish found in both the Mountain lake and the Forest river. They can be caught at any time of day, in any weather, and during any season.
- Frozen Geode: Equip your pickaxe and venture into the colder sections of the Mines, specifically floors 41-79. Break rocks to find Frozen Geodes randomly.
Fodder Bundle: Feeding Your Farm Animals
Classic and Remixed Versions: 3 out of 3 Items Required
Animal lovers will recognize these items as essential for keeping farm animals happy and fed. While animals in Stardew Valley primarily eat grass and hay, these items represent the core of animal care and contribute to your farm’s productivity and your bond with your animals.
- 10 Wheat: Wheat grows in Summer and Fall and matures in just four days. Harvest it with a scythe.
- 10 Hay: The easiest way to obtain Hay is to purchase it from Marnie’s Ranch for 50g per piece. Alternatively, you can get Hay as a byproduct while harvesting Wheat with a scythe.
- 3 Apples: Apple trees bear fruit in the Fall. Plant an Apple sapling before the end of Summer to ensure harvesting Apples in the Fall. As with Pomegranates, Apple trees can be grown in the Greenhouse year-round once the Pantry is completed.
Forager’s Bundle: Linus’s Wild Goodies
Remixed Version Only: 2 out of 3 Items Required
Unsurprisingly, given Linus’s lifestyle, everything in this bundle is foraged directly from nature around Stardew Valley. This bundle celebrates the bounty of nature and aligns with the foraging lifestyle, perhaps strengthening an unspoken friendship with Linus through appreciation of nature’s gifts.
- 50 Salmonberries: Salmonberries grow on bushes all over Stardew Valley, but only from Spring 15th to 18th. Higher Foraging skill levels will yield more berries per bush.
- 50 Blackberries: Blackberries are the mid-year equivalent of Salmonberries, available from Fall 8th to 11th. You can also find them foraged on the ground in Pelican Town, the Forest, and the Railroad area throughout Fall.
- 20 Wild Plums: Wild Plums are foraged from the ground at the Bus Stop, Railroad, Backwoods, and Mountain areas during Fall.
For the Forager’s Bundle, Salmonberries and Blackberries are generally the easiest to collect in large quantities when their bushes are in season.
Home Cook’s Bundle: Jodi’s Baking Ingredients
Remixed Version Only: 3 out of 3 Items Required
As a keen home cook, Jodi is well-acquainted with these ingredients. Based on the bundle’s contents, it seems she has a fondness for baking cakes, making this bundle a sweet gesture of friendship towards Jodi and home-cooked goodness.
- 10 Eggs (any): Any combination of the following eggs will count towards the total of 10: White Eggs, Brown Eggs, Large White Eggs, Large Brown Eggs, Void Eggs, and Duck Eggs. Dinosaur Eggs are not accepted.
- 10 Milk (any): Similar to eggs, any combination of Milk, Large Milk, Goat Milk, and Large Goat Milk will work.
- 100 Wheat Flour: Wheat Flour can be obtained in two ways. You can purchase it directly from Pierre’s General Store or JojaMart, or you can process Wheat in a Mill to produce Wheat Flour. Milling your own Wheat is more cost-effective in the long run, but requires more time and initial investment in a Mill.
Once you complete all five bundles on the Bulletin Board, the Junimos will repair a significant portion of the Community Center’s main room, revitalizing the heart of Pelican Town. The next day, you’ll receive a thank-you letter, and your friendship level with all villagers who can reach 10 hearts (those you cannot date) will increase by a substantial two hearts. This is a direct friendship boost, emphasizing the “friendship bundle” aspect of the Bulletin Board and the Community Center as a whole. The power of community spirit and kindness truly shines in Stardew Valley!
While this is part 4 of our guide series, the Bulletin Board is often the final bundle set that players complete. What happens after you’ve restored the Community Center? We’ll cover that in our next and final installment! In the meantime, we hope this guide has been helpful. Don’t forget to check out the previous parts of our Stardew Valley Community Center bundle guide if you need help with other rooms.
