Interception battles in Nikke are your daily proving grounds, offering essential equipment and upgrade materials to strengthen your squad. You’re granted three daily entries to test your mettle against formidable bosses. It’s important to note that entering and exiting a battle counts as an attempt, so plan your strategies wisely. However, retrying from the pause menu or restarting the game won’t cost you an attempt, allowing for strategic adjustments without penalty.
Our comprehensive guides are designed to assist you in conquering these challenges. The recommended team compositions are ordered by effectiveness, balancing strength, investment requirements, and ease of execution. Units are listed by their burst skill rotation, from Burst 1 to Sub, ensuring a clear understanding of team dynamics. For players new to team building concepts, we highly recommend reviewing our foundational guides: Team Building 101, Team Building 102, and Team Compositions, along with our Index (Glossary) for unfamiliar terms. Remember, a heavily invested unit, even if not listed as BiS, can often outperform recommendations based on your specific account progression. Liter remains a universally strong Nikke and is highly valuable in most Interception teams.
Conquering Special Individual Interception (SP Interception)
Special Individual Interception (SP Interception) becomes available after progressing through the Campaign and clearing stage 16-28. This advanced mode introduces five unique and powerful bosses that rotate daily, presenting a fresh challenge each day. The rotation follows a set schedule: Alteisen Mk>VI > Grave Digger > Blacksmith > Chatterbox > Modernia.
In SP Interception, your Nikkes are standardized to level 200, mirroring the EX stages in difficulty. However, it’s crucial to understand that skill levels are not fixed. Your Nikkes’ strength in SP Interception is directly determined by your investment in skill levels, equipment levels, bond levels, the Recycling Room, Harmony Cubes, limit breaks, and core enhancements. These factors become paramount in overcoming the increased challenge.
Progressing through SP Interception stages unlocks significantly improved rewards. Reaching stage 5 or higher introduces a chance for T9 equipment to drop as a bonus reward, marking a significant step up in gear quality. Advancing further to stage 7 and beyond unlocks the possibility of obtaining highly sought-after T9 manufacturer equipment as a bonus drop, alongside regular T9 equipment drops. While clearing stage 9 remains the ultimate goal, offering an increased 80% chance for bonus drops and a chance for valuable custom modules, even tackling stage 1 SP Interception provides superior rewards compared to clearing stage 9 of standard Interception S.
Achieving full clears (stage 9) on bosses other than Alteisen is achievable with sufficient investment in your Nikke squads. Don’t be discouraged if you find higher stages challenging initially. As you accumulate higher-tier equipment from consistent runs at lower stages, you’ll gradually strengthen your teams and progress deeper into SP Interception. The rewards, especially T9 manufacturer equipment and custom modules, are essential for upgrading to Overload (T10) equipment and optimizing substats, making SP Interception a crucial daily activity for end-game progression in Nikke.
