Introduction to Episode Aigis

Welcome to the ultimate guide for Episode Aigis, the highly anticipated DLC for Persona 3 Reload (P3R). This comprehensive walkthrough is designed to help you navigate every challenge, from the depths of the Abyss of Time to conquering formidable gatekeepers. Whether you’re a seasoned Persona veteran or a newcomer eager to explore Aigis’s story, this guide will provide you with step-by-step instructions, persona fusion strategies, and essential tips to excel in Episode Aigis.

Please be aware that Episode Aigis contains significant spoilers for the main Persona 3 Reload game. It is strongly recommended to complete the main story before diving into this DLC. While you can switch between episodes from the main menu, doing so prematurely may reveal crucial plot points.

Just like the base game, Episode Aigis offers five difficulty levels, ranging from Peaceful to Heartless (formerly Merciless). Difficulty settings do not impact the story or achievements, allowing you to choose the experience that best suits your playstyle. You have the option to carry over save data from your main game playthrough, bringing along your outfits and Persona Compendium. However, the Compendium carry-over is disabled on Heartless difficulty for a more challenging experience.

Note for Heartless Difficulty Players: This guide primarily focuses on Peaceful through Hard difficulties, leveraging the carried-over Compendium for fusion strategies. For players tackling Heartless difficulty without a carried-over Compendium, specific adjustments may be needed. A dedicated Heartless guide section is available for Part 1 for those seeking tailored advice.

Episode Aigis presents a generally higher difficulty curve compared to the main game. To assist you in overcoming challenges, this guide includes video references for each section, complete with timestamps for key encounters like Monad Doors and gatekeepers. If you encounter any difficulties, these video guides offer visual aids and strategies to help you succeed.

Let’s embark on this journey through Episode Aigis and uncover the mysteries that await!

Navigating Malebolge: Part 1 Walkthrough

March 31st, Wednesday

The adventure begins immediately after the intro cinematic. You’ll find yourself in an initial battle against a Mysterious Intruder. Defeat this enemy to trigger a cutscene, which leads you to the Velvet Room. Here, Aigis is formally introduced to Igor and Elizabeth. Upon the cutscene’s conclusion, you’ll unlock the achievement/trophy:

  • Achievement/Trophy: Realized Power (49/56)

Image alt text: Igor and Elizabeth welcome Aigis to the Velvet Room in Persona 3 Reload Episode Aigis DLC, setting the stage for persona management and fusions in the new content.

After the Velvet Room sequence, you have the opportunity to interact with your party members and explore the dorm. Metis is available to answer some questions if you speak with her. Locate 1x Twilight Fragment in the back right corner of the kitchen.

Head upstairs to 2F and find another 1x Twilight Fragment to the left of the vending machines.

Tip: The vending machines sell Mad Bulls, which can be useful early on for SP recovery if needed.

Descend the stairs in the lounge to access the Abyss of Time.

Understanding the Abyss of Time: The Abyss of Time, also known as the Desert of Doors, serves as the Episode Aigis equivalent of Tartarus. You’ll find familiar features like the clock, Velvet Room access, and save points. However, instead of a single entry point, you’ll navigate through multiple doors, each leading to different sections of the dungeon.

While your Compendium and outfits are carried over from the main game, be aware that your yen, skills, equipment, and character levels are reset. You now have access to two Compendiums: your carried-over Compendium and a new Episode Aigis Compendium. Switch between them using RT/R2. Both Compendiums contain the same Personas, but some Personas in the new Compendium may have different starting abilities.

Summoning Personas is restricted to those at or below Aigis’s current level. Summoning costs from the carried-over Compendium are significantly higher compared to the Episode Aigis Compendium. Despite the increased cost, summoning from your carried-over Compendium is still beneficial for specific Personas needed for fusions and Elizabeth’s quests.

Fusion will be a key aspect of Episode Aigis. Elizabeth’s quests require a total of 30 fusions, including 7 special fusions. Furthermore, obtaining some of the best equipment necessitates Persona heart items, which are acquired by fusing specific Personas within Episode Aigis.

To streamline Persona fusion, this guide focuses on fusions necessary for obtaining heart items and completing key Elizabeth’s quests. This approach ensures you meet the 30-fusion requirement efficiently.

Currently, you likely lack sufficient yen to summon Personas. Enter the Velvet Room first to unlock Aigis’s initial Theurgy.

Malebolge Block

Assemble your party as desired, noting that Mitsuru, Junpei, and Koromaru are temporarily unavailable. Proceed to the door marked Malebolge with a blue light and enter.

Minor Spoiler Tip: It is highly recommended to keep Metis in your party throughout Episode Aigis. Doing so will prevent potential issues later in the story.

Battle Mechanics in Episode Aigis: Combat initiation differs slightly from the main game. Aigis can now shoot enemies from a distance. To trigger a SEES Advantage, you must shoot shadows before they detect you. Exercise caution when shooting breakable statues near shadows, as the noise can alert them to your presence.

Shuffle Time mechanics remain consistent with the main game. Prioritize obtaining Major Arcana cards and yen cards. Acquire any Personas appearing during Shuffle Time to expand your ability options until you accumulate enough yen to summon from the Compendium.

Depending on your chosen difficulty, you might consider skipping Formidable Shadows in this block, especially on Hard difficulty where they consume significant SP to defeat.

If you’re wondering about missing DLC outfits for Metis, they are unlocked progressively throughout Episode Aigis by completing Elizabeth’s quests.

Aim to obtain a High Pixie from Shuffle Time. Alternatively, you can summon it from your carried-over Compendium later, but obtaining one via Shuffle Time saves yen.

Progress downwards to B8 and confront a Gatekeeper (similar to mini-bosses). A one-way teleporter on the preceding floor allows you to save before engaging the Gatekeeper. Defeating the Gatekeeper rewards you with the High Priestess Major Arcana. Proceed to the right to open chests and give the Bold Bow to Yukari. Enter the door to teleport back to the Desert of Doors. Upon returning to the Desert of Doors after defeating a Gatekeeper, a new door will appear behind the door you just cleared, indicating progression.

Major Arcana Acquisition in Episode Aigis: Major Arcana cards are acquired differently in Episode Aigis, obtained either by defeating gatekeepers or completing specific quests. While most effects remain similar to the main game, some have been modified.

Persona Level and Summoning Costs: Persona levels and your carried-over Fusion Guide will influence summoning costs, leading to variations in yen requirements. Therefore, yen estimations in this guide are approximate.

Farm the first block of Malebolge until you accumulate approximately 30-35k yen. Then, access the Velvet Room, register your current Personas, and summon:

Use RT/R2 to switch between your Compendiums.

  • If you carried over the DLC Fusion Guide: Summon Carmen
  • If you carried over the Non DLC Fusion Guide: Summon Hua Po

Returning to the dorm fully restores your HP and SP, but dungeon layouts and Arcana Burst progress are reset. The optimal time to return to the dorm is immediately after defeating a gatekeeper, as you’re about to start a new dungeon section, making layout resets less impactful.

Vending Machine Reset: Vending machines reset each time you return to the dorm. While you could repeatedly enter the Abyss of Time and return to the dorm to stock up on Mad Bulls, it’s generally not recommended. Your party’s SP pool increases rapidly, diminishing the value of Mad Bulls’ SP restoration relative to the effort.

Venturing Deeper into Malebolge: B8 and Paulownia Mall

Malebolge B8

Video Guide Note: The video guides accompanying this walkthrough utilize the Non DLC Fusion guide. If you carried over the DLC Fusion guide, prioritize using DLC Personas as they are generally more powerful.

When ready, proceed to the door labeled Malebolge B8 and continue downwards until you reach B15. Head through the door at B15 to advance the story.

Following the cutscene, you’ll find yourself in Paulownia Mall. Access to other areas is currently restricted, but Be Blue V, the Police Station, Mayoido Antiques, and the Pharmacy are open.

Locate 1x Twilight Fragment to the right of the fountain.

Visit the Police Station to sell any loot you’ve acquired. You can temporarily switch the difficulty to Peaceful to maximize the sell value of your loot. Avoid purchasing gear at this stage, as saving yen for Persona summoning is more crucial.

Police Station Gear: The Police Station offers strong gear in Episode Aigis, but it lacks sub-effects and is expensive at this early stage. Fortunately, the game provides decent starting gear.

Re-enter the Police Station immediately to receive 3x Nihil Blade and 10x Onyx.

Police Station Rewards: After clearing each block in the Abyss of Time, the Police Station provides item rewards, including base materials, gems, accessories, skill cards, and more.

Enter the Pharmacy and purchase a Muscle Drink, required for an upcoming quest. It’s also advisable to buy 4-6 Dis-Poison’s. These are the only reliable means of curing poison at this point, as alternatives depend on random chest drops.

You may not be able to purchase much from the Antiques Shop yet, but acquire the Invigorate 2 skill card if possible. It’s needed for an upcoming Elizabeth’s quest.

When prepared, return to the door you entered from to go back to the dorm.

Paulownia Mall Access: You can now use the new door in the dorm to revisit Paulownia Mall whenever needed.

Just before the stairs on the ground floor of the dorm, look to your left to find 1x Twilight Fragment.

Return to the Abyss of Time/Desert of Doors. Elizabeth’s requests are now unlocked. Speak to her to accept the following quests:

    1. Bring me a Muscle Drink
    1. Bring me Meteor Knuckles
    1. Perform All-Out Attacks
    1. Create a Persona with Mabufu
    1. Shadow Hunting Milestone
    1. Create a Persona that’s level 30 or above
    1. Fusion Series #1: High Priestess, Sarasvati
    1. Treasure Hunting Milestone
    1. Persona Fusion Milestone
  • 56 Special Fusion Milestone

You should be able to immediately complete quests 1, 12, 17 (using High Pixie from Shuffle Time or Compendium), and 43, unlocking the following new requests:

    1. Bring me Invigorate 2
    1. Create a Persona with Fatal End
    1. Shadow Hunting Milestone #2

Quests 2 and 44 should also be completable immediately, unlocking:

    1. Bring me a Dekaja Gem
    1. Shadow Hunting Milestone #3

Quest Unlock Timing: Shadow Hunting and Treasure Hunting quests may unlock at slightly different times for you. The order of these quests does not impact Persona fusions or hangout events in Episode Aigis, so you can complete them at your own pace.

Farm Malebolge until you have 70-75k yen.

Enter the Velvet Room, register your Personas, and summon:

  • If you carried over the DLC Fusion Guide: Summon Zorro and Arsene
  • If you carried over the Non DLC Fusion Guide: Summon Pale Rider and Kushi Mitama.

You can now complete quest 18 for Elizabeth, unlocking:

    1. Create a Persona with Gigantic Fist

Cocytus Block Guide: Monad Doors and Magician Arcana

Cocytus Block

Shuffle Time Persona Tip: As you progress into Cocytus, new Personas will appear in Shuffle Times. While your main Persona roster will likely come from your carried-over Compendium, acquiring these new Personas is recommended. They contribute to filling your Episode Aigis Compendium, which unlocks new Theurgies, summoning discounts, and Characteristics for Aigis. When your Persona stock is full, simply replace a Shuffle Time Persona with a newer one.

Junpei and Koromaru rejoin the team. Reassemble your party as desired from the now-available members.

When ready, proceed to the door marked Cocytus and enter. Descend until you reach B6. Here, you’ll find the Abyss of Time’s version of Monad Doors.

Monad Door Challenge: You’ll encounter three Monad Doors: left (easiest), middle, and right (hardest). Higher difficulty doors offer better rewards. You can only choose one door per floor, but you can freely enter and exit them to assess the enemies before committing. However, once you leave the floor, the doors become locked.

The left door features one enemy spawn, the middle door two spawns, and the right door three spawns. A spawn can consist of 1 to 3 enemies.

The middle door includes all spawns from the left door plus an additional spawn. The right door contains all spawns from the other two doors, plus another spawn.

All three doors contain a consumable item, a base material chest, and a gem chest. Harder doors offer more chests with random gear drops.

Gear obtained from Monad Doors can be quite potent, sometimes surpassing gear from the Antiques Store. However, drops are RNG-based, with random sub-effects of varying quality.

Some Elizabeth’s quests require loot exclusively dropped by enemies behind Monad Doors, occasionally only spawning in the hardest door. These quests reward some of the best Major Arcana cards. Therefore, attempting the hardest door is recommended for more gear, and increased chances of obtaining quest items.

If you struggle with the hardest Monad Door, refer to the video timestamps for Monad Door encounters for strategy tips. Alternatively, you can return later at a higher level. In the meantime, tackle the Monad Door difficulty you’re comfortable with.

After clearing a Monad Door, continue downwards to B9 for the next Gatekeeper (Teleporter is on B8).

Defeating this Gatekeeper grants you the Magician Major Arcana. Open the chests to the right, and give the Slugger Jacket to Junpei and the Meteor Knuckles to Akihiko. Then take the door to return to the Desert of Doors.

Gatekeeper Chest Items: Chests after this gatekeeper contain Best Bouts DVD and Martial Arts 101. These items initiate dorm hangouts with party members, unlocking their Characteristics. These items are exclusively dropped on pre-determined gatekeeper floors and from locked chests.

You should now be able to complete quests 4, 45, and 49, unlocking:

    1. Bring me a Flash Grenade
    1. Bring me a Lady’s Stool
    1. Shadow Hunting Milestone #4
    1. Treasure Hunting Milestone #2

You might also be able to complete quest 30, requiring a Lady’s Stool, which drops from Monad Door enemies. Don’t worry if you haven’t obtained it yet, as it can also drop in the next block.

Return to the dorm and agree to let Fuuka install new parts, unlocking Ambush.

Ambush Mechanic: Ambush functions identically to the base game. With blue streaks from dashing, you can gain a SEES Advantage even if enemies spot you.

Engage in a DVD hangout with Junpei:

  • Characteristics Unlocked: Critical Boost, Increased Crit Rate and strength (Increases critical hit rate by 5% and critical hit damage by 20%)

Read a book with Akihiko:

  • Characteristics Unlocked: Buff Boost, Increases the effects of buffs on self (Increases the effect of buffs on self by 10%)

Enter the Velvet Room and register your Personas. If you have Power in your stock, you will unlock:

  • Theurgy: Justice (For having Archangel and Power in the Compendium)

Obtain Power either from Shuffle Time or summon it from your carried-over Compendium.

  • If you carried over the DLC Fusion Guide: Summon Captain Kidd
  • If you carried over the Non DLC Fusion Guide: Summon Take-Mikazuchi

If you lack sufficient yen, sell loot or farm more. To calculate loot value, refer to the Loot and Breakable Objects Cocytus Block 1 guide section.

Cocytus B9 to B15: Unlocking The Vengeful One

Cocytus B9

When ready, proceed to the door labeled Cocytus B9.

Grand Clock Encounters: This block introduces the possibility of Grand Clocks spawning when opening locked chests. Grand Clocks function like in the main game, allowing you to level up to two party members by a maximum of 13 levels.

Twilight Fragment Sources: Twilight Fragments for locked chests are primarily obtained from Elizabeth (5 fragments per block clear) and by breaking statues within the Abyss of Time.

Deciding whether to use Twilight Fragments on locked chests is up to you. While fragments are regularly provided, depletion is possible. Breakable statues respawn frequently in earlier Abyss of Time blocks. If you’re running low, sprint through earlier blocks, ignoring enemies, to efficiently gather fragments.

Continue downwards until you reach B15, and proceed through the door. After the cutscene, you will unlock:

  • Achievement/Trophy: The Vengeful One (50/56)

Image alt text: Aigis confronting a shadowy figure in Persona 3 Reload Episode Aigis DLC, highlighting the central conflict and darker thematic elements of the additional story content.

Once back in the dorm, find 1x Twilight Fragment directly behind Metis. Head to Paulownia Mall and locate 1x Twilight Fragment by the tree near Club Escapade, and another 1x Twilight Fragment to the right side of the fountain.

Visit the Police Station to sell loot. Set difficulty to Peaceful for maximum sell value.

You should now have sufficient gems and base materials to begin upgrading gear at the Antiques Shop. Focus on upgrading gear for your core party members first.

Police Station Gear vs. Antiques Shop: It’s generally recommended to skip purchasing gear from the Police Stations at this point due to high costs. Saving yen for Persona summoning remains more efficient.

Sorrow Gear Prioritization: Before upgrading Antiques Shop gear, equip any Sorrow Gear obtained from Monad Doors. Sorrow Gear is potent and can surpass Antiques Shop offerings. To farm more Sorrow Gear, revisit Cocytus Monad Doors.

Character Weapon Armour Footwear Accessory
Aigis Nucleus Rifle/Sorrow Gear Phalanx Shell/Sorrow Gear Pearlite Legs/Sorrow Gear Fairy Talisman (PS)/Sorrow Gear
Metis Charun’s Hammer/Sorrow Gear Cyber Torso/Sorrow Gear Solid Pied/Sorrow Gear Strike Bracers/Sorrow Gear
Yukari Source Yumi/Sorrow Gear Sorcery Robe/Sorrow Gear Leg Protector/Sorrow Gear Wind Bracers/Sorrow Gear
Junpei Claymore/Sorrow Gear Slugger’s Jacket/Sorrow Gear Electro Shoes/Sorrow Gear Fire Bracers/Sorrow Gear
Akihiko Root Cestus/Sorrow Gear Stab-Proof Vest/Sorrow Gear Electro Shoes/Sorrow Gear Thunder Bracers/Sorrow Gear
Mitsuru Flamberge Sorcery Robe/Sorrow Gear Leg ProtectorSorrow Gear Ice Bracers/Sorrow Gear
Ken SEES Longspear/Sorrow Gear Stab-Proof Vest/Sorrow Gear Electro Shoes/Sorrow Gear Light Bracers/Sorrow Gear
Koromaru SEES Knife/Sorrow Gear Rock Dog Suit/Sorrow Gear Bare Paws Dark Bracers/Sorrow Gear

Return to the Desert of Doors. Elizabeth will inform you about a new clock that has appeared. This clock allows you to copy a Skill Card in exchange for a Twilight Fragment.

Lady’s Stool Farming Tip: If you still need a Lady’s Stool from Monad Doors for quest completion, return to Cocytus and use Fuuka’s Jamming Ability. This makes enemies ignore you, allowing you to explore floors until a Monad Door spawns. Repeat until a Lady’s Stool drops.

Complete quests 13, 30, 46, and 50 for Elizabeth, unlocking:

    1. Create a Persona that’s level 38 or above
    1. Defeat a rare Shadow #1
    1. Bring me Divine Fur
    1. Shadow Hunting Milestone #5
    1. Treasure Hunting Milestone #3

Level-Based Quest Timing: Quests requiring Personas of specific levels may complete at different times for you, depending on your carried-over Compendium levels. This variation is normal and does not impact progression.

Persona Summoning Discount: Due to the RNG nature of new Persona drops in Shuffle Times, you may unlock Persona summoning discounts earlier or later than indicated here.

Visit the Velvet Room and register your Personas. If you’ve been collecting new Personas from Shuffle Times, you may unlock a cost reduction for Persona summoning, requiring 30% Episode Aigis Compendium completion. This discount applies to both Compendiums.

Farm yen until you have 80-100K, then enter the Velvet Room, register Personas, and summon:

  • If you carried over the DLC Fusion Guide: Summon Johanna and Kaguya
  • If you carried over the Non DLC Fusion Guide: Summon Power* and Flauros.

*Summon Power from your carried-over Compendium, not from Shuffle Time.

Caina Block: Lovers and Justice Arcana Challenges

Caina Block

Mitsuru rejoins the team, completing your full party roster.

Divine Fur Drop Location: Divine Fur drops from Monad Door enemies in this block. Don’t worry if you don’t obtain one immediately, as they also drop in subsequent blocks.

When ready, proceed to the door marked Caina. Descend until you reach B7 (Teleporter on B6) for the Gatekeeper. Defeat the Gatekeeper to receive the Lovers Major Arcana. Open the chests to the right and give the Flash Grenade to Aigis (unless you obtained a Cannon of Betrayal as a Monad Door drop).

Lovers Arcana Effect Change: The Lovers Arcana effect is modified in Episode Aigis. It no longer grants fusion EXP boosts (due to the absence of Social Links) and instead increases the spawn rate of rare shadows.

Return to the door and go back to the Desert of Doors. Complete quests 5, 47, and 51, unlocking:

    1. Bring me a Blazing Greatsword
    1. Shadow Hunting Milestone #6
    1. Treasure Hunting Milestone #4

Return to the dorm, and Fuuka will install further parts, enhancing Ambush.

Head to 4F and spend time with Mitsuru:

  • Characteristics Unlocked: Ailment Burst, Raises critical rate on foes with ailments (Increases the party’s critical rate by 7% on foes with Ailments)

Spend time with Ken:

  • Characteristics Unlocked: Spirit Refresh (Recover 5 SP each turn in battle)

Upon attempting to return to the Abyss of Time, Junpei will give you a flower shop flyer. Visit Paulownia Mall and speak to the Flower Shop Lady in front of the fountain to plant seeds.

Flower Shop Harvesting: Flower shop harvesting differs from the rooftop in the main game. Items received are random but can include any possible items, including those previously requiring dorm mate hangouts.

Sell loot at the Police Station. Set difficulty to Peaceful to maximize sell value.

Acquire a Growth 2 card from the Antiques Store. If you lack Onyx gems, trade other gems for Onyx under “Trade Items.”

Return to the dorm and access the Vermillion Clock to create 2x copies of Growth 2. This requires 2x Twilight Fragments.

Farm yen until you have approximately 60-80k.

Enter the Velvet Room, register Personas, and summon:

  • If you carried over the DLC Fusion Guide: Summon King Frost
  • If you carried over the Non DLC Fusion Guide: Summon King Frost

Summon Tam Lin and Neko Shogun from the Episode Aigis Compendium.

Then Fuse:

Fusion Recipe Skills to Pass On Skills to Keep
Black Frost (Special Fusion) Auto Tarukaja, Auto Rakukaja, Mabufula and Invigorate 2 Maeiga, Growth 2, Dark Boost, lvl 39 Bufudyne, lvl 40
Tam Lin and Neko Shogun Result: Loa Irrelevant, fusing for heart item Growth 1

Fusion Mechanics in Episode Aigis: Fusion in Episode Aigis does not grant bonus EXP (due to no Social Links). Instead, many Personas come with Growth 1 or Growth 2 skills.

You will now unlock:

  • Theurgy: King and I (For having King Frost and Black Frost in the Episode Aigis Compendium)

Replace Growth 1 with Growth 2 on both Loa and Black Frost. Register Loa to the Compendium to save the Growth 2 skill.

DLC Fusion Guide Note: If using DLC Personas and have sufficient yen, consider replacing Black Frost with Goemon.

Loa Heart Item Farming: Keep Loa in your stock until it drops its heart item.

Caina B7

Return to the Desert of Doors and enter the door labeled Caina B7. Descend until you reach B14 for the next Gatekeeper. Saving at the teleporter on B13 is highly recommended, as this Gatekeeper fight is significantly challenging. Defeating the Gatekeeper rewards you with the Justice Major Arcana. Open the chests to the right and give the Insulated Tights to Yukari.

Gatekeeper Boss Strategy (Caina B7):

Recommended Party: Aigis, Metis, Yukari, and Mitsuru.

Ensure all party members, including Fuuka, have charged Theurgies.

Start by having Yukari use Sukunda on Judgement Sword. This is crucial because Judgement Sword has Dodge Wind, its weakness element, and Harmony Giant will cast Sukukaja on it. Then, use Fuuka’s Theurgy for party-wide Heat Riser to help survive the upcoming Blade of Fury attack. Ensure everyone’s HP and SP are high to guarantee Fuuka applies the buff.

Next, use Mitsuru’s Theurgy on Harmony Giant, which has a high chance to freeze. If freezing fails, reload the fight as freezing is important. Depending on gear, Mitsuru might act first; if so, execute the same strategy but in reverse order.

Aigis or Metis will likely be next. Both have wind spells. If you have single-target wind damage items, use them for a guaranteed knockdown. Even with Sukunda negating Sukukaja, Dodge Wind can cause attacks to miss. Items guarantee hits. If no items are available, use single-target wind spells and hope they connect. Once knocked down, attacks won’t be dodged.

After knockdown, shift to Mitsuru and use Rakunda on Judgement Sword. Then, use single-target wind spells on Aigis/Metis (whichever hasn’t acted yet). Use only single-target spells to avoid unfreezing Harmony Giant. When Yukari’s turn arrives, use her Theurgy on the defense-debuffed, knocked-down Judgement Sword for significant damage. Have Mitsuru use Bufula on Judgement Sword. If lucky, one of these attacks might dizzy Judgement Sword, preventing its next attack. (This didn’t happen in the video example unfortunately).

When Metis’s turn comes, use her Theurgy as Harmony Giant’s freeze is about to wear off. If Judgement Sword is dizzy, it remains knocked down, allowing Metis’s Theurgy to heavily damage both enemies, potentially leading to an All-Out Attack. Even if not dizzy, Metis might still knock it down, enabling the All-Out Attack. Follow up with Aigis’s Theurgy and use King and I for a chance to freeze Harmony Giant again for another guaranteed critical hit.

By this point, Judgement Sword should be dead or near death, depending on difficulty. Continue using wind spells to finish it. Use wind items for guaranteed knockdowns if needed.

Now, only Harmony Giant remains. It has no weaknesses, so use strongest slash and pierce attacks to farm critical hits. Use skills like Revolution to boost crit rate, and Mitsuru’s Rakunda to maintain defense debuff. Harmony Giant uses lightning attacks, so guard with Yukari if healing is needed, use items.

Depending on crit luck, victory can be swift or prolonged. Use Theurgies as they charge, and victory will follow.

A video guide is also available for visual reference.

Use the door to return to the Desert of Doors and farm until you have 60-70K yen.

Loa should have dropped its heart item by now. Dismiss Loa before registering Personas. Then, summon it again and level it to re-acquire its heart item. Repeat this process until you have 3x Soul Sea Droplet’s.

Enter the Velvet Room and register Personas, then summon:

Summoning Okuninushi may be level-dependent. If you can’t summon it yet, continue with your current Personas until you reach a sufficient level.

  • If you carried over the DLC Fusion Guide: Summon Okuninushi. Dismiss Carmen
  • If you carried over the Non DLC Fusion Guide: Summon Okuninushi. Dismiss Hua Po

If you have a Divine Fur or/and Odd Coin, you can also complete quests 27 and 31.

Complete quests 14, 48, and 52 for Elizabeth, unlocking:

    1. Create a Persona that’s level 46 or above

Return to the dorm and spend time with Yukari:

  • Characteristics Unlocked: Healing Master (Reduces the SP cost of recovery skills to 50%)

Give the Large Bone to Koromaru:

  • Characteristics Unlocked: Auto Sukunda (Lowers Accuracy/Evasion of 1 random foe for 3 turns)

Visit Paulownia Mall and speak to the Flower Shop Lady to receive your harvest, then plant seeds of your choice.

Sell loot at the Police Station. Set difficulty to Peaceful for maximum sell value.

Caina B14 to B20: The Determined One and Second Theurgies

Caina B14

When ready, proceed to the door labeled Caina B14 and continue downwards until you reach B20.

After the cutscenes, you will unlock:

  • Achievement/Trophy: The Determined One (51/56)
  • 2x Party members will unlock their second Theurgies

A cutscene will play featuring two party members in discussion, after which both will unlock their second Theurgies. The pairing is random but limited to four combinations:

  • Fuuka and Metis
  • Junpei and Mitsuru
  • Ken and Yukari
  • Akihiko and Koromaru

Head up to 3F in the dorm, and find 1x Twilight Fragment at the end of the hallway.

Go to the command room and find 1x Twilight Fragment to the right on the console.

Divine Fur/Odd Coin Farming: If you still need a Divine Fur or Odd coin from rare shadows, farm Caina until they drop. Use Fuuka’s Jamming Ability to bypass regular mobs and focus on Monad Doors and rare shadows.

Afterwards, complete quests 27 and 31 for Elizabeth, unlocking:

    1. Defeat a rare Shadow #2
    1. Bring me Ver. III Restraints
    1. Perform Dream fest

Visit Paulownia Mall and speak to the Flower Shop Lady to receive your harvest. You can now plant up to 3 seeds. Plant your preferred seeds.

Visit the Police Station and sell loot. Set difficulty to Peaceful for maximum sell value. Also, sell any duplicate gear.

Then, visit the Antiques Shop and upgrade your gear. Acquire both the Blazing Sword (Ergotite Shard) and a Dekaja Gem from the Antiques Store, needed for quests.

Betrayal Gear Prioritization: Before upgrading Antiques Shop gear, equip any Betrayal Gear obtained from Monad Doors. Betrayal Gear is powerful and may surpass Antiques Shop gear. To farm more Betrayal Gear, revisit Cocytus Monad Doors.

Base Material RNG Note: Due to the RNG nature of base material drops (Quality Nihil Blade, Cloth, and Ore), some listed items might not be available at the Antiques Shop for you yet.

Character Weapon Armour Footwear Accessory
Aigis Blast Magnum/Betrayal Gear Achiles Guard/Betrayal Gear Ergotite Legs/Betrayal Gear Betrayal Gear
Metis Celtis/Betrayal Gear Slayer Torso/Betrayal Gear Smart Pied/Betrayal Gear Strike Bracers/Betrayal Gear
Yukari Bow of Affection/Betrayal Gear Rangda Robe/Betrayal Gear Silent Sandals/Betrayal Gear Vayu Bracers/Yellow Shawl/Betrayal Gear
Junpei Mikazuki Munechika/Betrayal Gear Samue of the Tengu/Betrayal Gear Silent Sandals/Betrayal Gear Agni Bracers/Green Shawl/Betrayal Gear
Akihiko Kaiser Knuckes/Betrayal Gear Tigerhide Belt/Betrayal Gear Silent Sandals/Betrayal Gear Indra Bracers/Blue Shawl/Betrayal Gear

Ken Fauchard/Betrayal Gear Tigerhide Belt/Betrayal Gear Silent Sandals/Betrayal Gear Light Bracers/Betrayal Gear
Koromaru Elementary Mask/Betrayal Gear Powered Dog Suit/Betrayal Gear Bare Paws Dark Bracers/Betrayal Gear

Loa Heart Item Refarming: Remember to dismiss and re-summon Loa for its heart item. You need 3x Soul Sea Droplet’s in total, having used one for the Blazing Sword. Repeat this process if you desire Shawl gear, as each Shawl requires 1x Soul Sea Droplet.

Go to the Desert of Doors and enter the Velvet Room. Register Personas and fuse:

Summoning Hua Po from the Episode Aigis Compendium saves yen, but Samael must be summoned from the carried-over Compendium.

Fusion Recipe Skills to Pass On Skills to Keep
Hua Po and Samael Result: Sarasvati Agilao, Auto Tarukaja, Life Aid and Endure Irrelevant, fused for quest

Complete quests 3, 6, and 21 for Elizabeth, unlocking:

    1. Bring me Gaea’s Grace
    1. Fusion Series #2: Lovers, Titania

You’ve just unlocked the first optional outfit for Metis.

Antenora: Empress and Emperor Arcana

Antenora Block

Ver. III Restraints Drop: Ver. III Restraints drop from Monad Door enemies in this block. If you don’t get one this time, they also drop in upcoming blocks.

When ready, proceed to the door labeled Antenora and enter. Climb downwards until you reach B10 (Teleport on B9) and defeat the Gatekeeper. Defeating it grants the Empress Major Arcana. Open the chests to the right. If you have Celtis equipped on Metis, keep it; its strike boost is better than the slightly higher attack stat of Gaea’s Grace. Go through the door to return to the Desert of Doors.

If you also obtained a Rustic Coin from a rare shadow or Ver. III restraints from Monad Doors, you can also complete quests 28 and 32.

Complete quest 7 for Elizabeth, unlocking:

    1. Bring me Hazakura
    1. Bring me a Cap of Eminence

You might be able to complete quest 37 immediately if you obtained a Cap of Eminence from Monad Doors.

Return to the dorm for a cutscene.

Spend time with Metis:

  • Characteristics Unlocked: Sister Boost (Attack up by 20% until end of turn when receiving a Shift from Aigis)

Study with Fuuka:

  • Characteristics Unlocked: Weakness Buffer, reduces damage taken when an ally’s weakness is struck (Reduces damage by 10% when an ally’s weakness is struck)

Visit Paulownia Mall and get your harvest from the Flower Shop Lady, then plant your preferred seeds.

Sell loot at the Police Station. Set difficulty to Peaceful for maximum sell value.

You should hopefully have acquired 2 more Soul Sea Droplet’s to obtain the Hazakura (Ergotite Shard) from the Antiques Shop. If you’re short on ingredients, get it next time you visit the Antiques Shop.

Return to the dorm and enter the Abyss of Time.

Farm until you have approximately 130-150K yen.

Summoning these Personas may be level-dependent. If you can’t summon them yet, continue with your current Personas until you reach a sufficient level.

Enter the Velvet Room, register Personas, and summon:

  • If you carried over the DLC Fusion Guide: Summon Dionysus and Succubus. Dismiss Captain Kid and Arsene
  • If you carried over the Non DLC Fusion Guide: Summon Dionysus and Succubus. Dismiss Take-Mikazuchi and Pale Rider

If you haven’t obtained an Incubus from Shuffle Time, summon it from your carried-over Compendium.

Aigis Characteristic Unlock Timing: Aigis Characteristics may unlock earlier or later depending on the RNG of new Personas appearing in Shuffle Time.

If you’ve been collecting new Personas from Shuffle Times, you should have filled enough of the Episode Aigis Compendium (40% completion) to unlock Aigis Characteristics.

  • Characteristics Unlocked: Weakness Boost (Increases damage when striking a foe’s weakness)

You will now unlock:

  • Theurgy: Dreamfest (For having Incubus and Succubus in the Aigis Compendium)

Complete quests 8, 15, and 58, unlocking:

    1. Bring me an Aristocracy
    1. Create a Persona that’s level 54 or above

Antenora B10 to B25: The Disillusioned One

Antenora B10

When ready, return to the Desert of Doors and proceed to the door labeled Antenora B10. Climb downwards until you reach B20 (Teleporter on B19) for the next Gatekeeper. After defeating it, you’ll get the Emperor Major Arcana. Open the chests to the right and give the Battle Leotard to Mitsuru and the Fiery Vest to Akihiko (unless you’ve acquired Treason armor for them).

If you picked up a Rustic Coin, Ver. III Restraints, or a Cap of Eminence, you can complete quests 28, 32, and 37. If you’ve just completed quest 28, Fuuka will install new parts enhancing Ambush on your next dorm visit.

Return to the dorm for a cutscene, afterwards you’ll unlock:

  • 2x Random party members second Theurgies

Speak to the Flower Shop Lady in Paulownia Mall to receive your harvest, then plant your chosen seeds.

Return to the dorm and access the Abyss of Time.

Antenora B20

When ready, proceed to the door labeled Antenora B20 and enter. Continue downwards until you reach B25, and enter the door.

After the cutscene, you’ll unlock:

  • Achievement/Trophy: The Disillusioned One (52/56)

Rustic Coin, Ver. III Restraints, Cap of Eminence Farming: If you still need a Rustic Coin, Ver. III Restraints, or a Cap of Eminence, return to Antenora and farm them. Use Fuuka’s Jamming Ability to bypass mobs and focus on Monad Doors and rare shadows.

Complete quests 28, 32, and 37 for Elizabeth, unlocking:

    1. Defeat a Greedy Shadow
    1. Bring me Golden Plates
    1. Bring me a Red Wall Fragment
    1. Bring me a Bloody Button

If you’ve just completed quest 28, Fuuka will install new parts, further enhancing Ambush.

Head up to 4F in the dorm and find 1x Twilight Fragment by the stairs.

Visit Paulownia Mall and speak to the Flower Shop Lady to receive your harvest. You can now buy Soul Spinach Sprout’s from the shop. Plant your preferred seeds.

Visit the Police Station and sell loot. Set difficulty to Peaceful for maximum sell value.

Visit the Antiques Store and upgrade your gear.

Treason Gear Prioritization: Before upgrading Antiques Shop gear, equip any Treason Gear obtained from Monad Doors. Treason Gear is very strong and may surpass Antiques Shop gear. To farm more Treason Gear, revisit Cocytus Monad Doors.

Heart Item Gear Note: Some gear listed below requires heart items from specific Personas. However, Monad Door gear is so strong that refusion and releveling these Personas might not be worth the effort. You only need 30 fusions for Elizabeth’s quest total, so fusing endgame Personas for their heart items is recommended. The list below shows the strongest gear currently available, but obtaining it through fusion is optional.

Gem Trading: Under “Trade Items,” a wide selection of gem conversions and general Persona heart items is now available. Utilize this if you’re slightly short on specific gems.

Character Weapon Armour Footwear Accessory
Aigis Blast Magnum/Treason Gear Fifth Number/Treason Gear Free Walkers/Treason Gear Fairy Talisman (PS)/Treason Gear

Ken Fauchard/Treason Gear Tigerhide BeltTreason Gear Silent Sandals Light Bracers
Koromaru Elementary Mask/Treason Gear Powered Dog Suit/Treason Gear Bare Paws Dark Bracers

Return to the dorm and access the Abyss of Time.

Farm until you have 210-240k yen.

Enter the Velvet Room. Igor will unlock new special fusions, then register your Personas.

Jatayu Heart Item Farming: If you fused Jatayu in the base game and haven’t used it much, it should be below level 59 (its heart item drop level – Soul Sea Drop). You need several Soul Sea Drops for upcoming quests and powerful gear like Fallen Noble Armour. Summon it from your carried-over Compendium initially; it will register to the Episode Aigis Compendium, reducing future summoning costs.

Jatayu also has Growth 3, making it ideal for Soul Sea Drop farming. Use the same method as with Loa: level it until it drops its heart item, dismiss and re-summon it, repeating as needed.

Farm until you have 4x Soul Sea Drop’s. You need 2 for a quest and 2 for the Power Transmitter (party-wide Attack Up accessory). For Null Accessories (1x Soul Sea Drop each) or Fallen Noble Armour (2x Soul Sea Drop’s each), farm more.

If your Jatayu has already dropped its heart item, refusion is possible. It will be level 55. Level it to 58, then register it in the Compendium. Re-summoning will then be just one level away from its heart item drop, instead of four.

Persona Fusion Skills To Pass On Skills to Keep
Girimekhala and Ganesha Result: Jatayu Auto Tarukaja, Auto Maraku, Life Aid and Enduring Soul N/A

Summoning these Personas may be level-dependent. If you can’t summon them yet, continue with your current roster until you can.

  • If you carried over the DLC Fusion Guide: Summon Koumokuten, Jatayu, and Magatsu-Izanagi. Dismiss Zorro, Johanna, and Succubus
  • If you carried over the Non DLC Fusion Guide: Summon Koumokuten, Jatayu, and Throne. Dismiss Power, Flauros, and Kushi Mitama
