If you possess the irrefutable proof obtained from Lagos, Pausanias will be unable to refute the charges and will face banishment from Sparta. However, if Lagos was killed and the Ephors remain unconvinced, both Myrrine and you will be exiled, leaving Pausanias to gloat about the Cult’s influence.
Either way, King Pausanias becomes your next target. If he is exiled, an opportunity arises to assassinate him as he flees. Be warned, he is a formidable opponent, and any soldiers who witness your attack will join the fray. Upon confirming his death, you will find definitive proof of his guilt on his corpse. Return to Archidamos with this evidence to have your family’s citizenship and estate restored. If Pausanias escapes into exile, pursue and eliminate him to rid Greece of another Cultist.
