The snow is falling, the bells are jingling, and RuneScape 3’s Christmas Village has returned! This year brings a brand new quest, A Christmas Reunion, where you’ll assist Diango in preparing his workshop for the winter season. Get ready to craft festive uniforms, bake delicious biscuits, and whip up some warming hot chocolate. This guide will walk you through every step of the quest.
Preparing for A Christmas Reunion
Before embarking on the A Christmas Reunion quest, gather these essential items:
- Split fir logs (3)
- Steel nails (15)
- Bolts of cloth (5)
- Thread
- Red dye
- Green dye
- Chocolate dust
- Bucket of milk
- Biscuits
Most items can be obtained beforehand, but fir logs require access to the Christmas Village.
Journey to the Christmas Village and Diango’s Workshop
Use the Christmas Village teleport in your spellbook to reach The Land of Snow. Head east to find Diango’s Workshop, easily recognizable by the decorated Christmas tree beside him. Talk to Diango to initiate the quest.
Diango will explain that Santa invited him to the Christmas Village to aid in toy production. However, mischievous snow imps have caused some chaos, and the workshop needs your help to become fully operational. Time to roll up your sleeves and get to work!
Building the Workbenches
Diango’s first request is for you to construct three workbenches. This requires chopping fir trees outside, splitting the logs, and combining them with steel nails. You’ll need 15 steel nails and three split fir logs in total.
Outside the workshop, you’ll find fir trees and a stump for splitting logs. Chop down enough trees to acquire three logs, then use them on the stump.
Steel nails can be crafted by using a steel bar on an anvil, yielding 75 nails. Alternatively, purchase them from the Grand Exchange for convenience.
With the necessary materials, return to Diango’s Workshop and interact with the three piles of planks located in the northern part of the building. Your character will begin repairing each workbench, occasionally interrupted by pesky imps. Shoo them away or ignore them until all three benches are complete.
Recruiting the Pixies
Once the workbenches are built, report back to Diango. He’ll introduce you to Cait, a pixie union representative and former employee of Diango’s.
Your character quickly notices the pixie shortage. Cait needs your help locating them. Based on her notes, she suggests searching in these locations:
- Lumbridge Crater
- Al Kharid
- Daemonheim Peninsula
- Tree Gnome Stronghold
- Zanaris
Luckily, you only need to find three of the five pixies to encourage the others to return. Free-to-play players cannot access the Tree Gnome Stronghold or Zanaris pixies. Cait provides you with a Magical Thingymabob to detect nearby pixie magic.
To find the pixies, use the Magical Thingymabob to scan for their magic. The Thingymabob will indicate signal strength: Weak, Moderate, Strong, and Very Strong. The closer you are to a pixie, the stronger the signal. A Very Strong range indicates a pixie is nearby and will appear, allowing you to speak with them.
Here’s a breakdown of each pixie’s location:
Pixie | Location |
---|---|
Aoife | Lumbridge Crater – Northwest of the pond |
Shauna | Al Kharid – North of Citharede Abbey’s entrance |
Maeve | Daemonheim – Second floor in the Archaeologist room |
Niamh | Tree Gnome Stronghold – South of Gnomeball Court |
Shannon | Zanaris – Northwest of the bank, inside a house |

Crafting Festive Pixie Uniforms
After speaking with at least three pixies, return to Diango and Cait. Diango feels the workshop is still missing something: new uniforms! He suggests seeking assistance from Iffie in Varrock.
Travel to Thessalia’s Fine Clothes in Varrock and speak with Iffie. She’ll provide you with a pixie uniform pattern and a list of required materials:
- Six bolts of cloth
- Red dye
- Green dye
- Thread
These items are available on the Grand Exchange. Alternatively, you can create red dye using redberries and coins at Aggie’s in Draynor Village. Green dye requires combining yellow and blue dye, also obtainable from Aggie using woad leaves, onions, and coins.
Bolts of cloth can be found in shops like Alfred Stonemason’s Construction Shop in Rimmington. Thread is sold in shops like Dommik’s Crafting Store in Al Kharid, the Fancy Clothes Store in Varrock, and Nicholas Angle’s Crafting Shop in Taverly. Members can also access these items in members-only areas like the Lletya Seamstress and Prifddinas Construction Supplies.
With all the materials, combine the dyes to create Christmas Dye, then click the pixie uniform pattern in your inventory. Return to Diango to choose the color of the pixie outfits. This choice is purely cosmetic and doesn’t affect the story or rewards.
Restocking the Kitchen: Biscuits and Hot Chocolate
The final task involves restocking the kitchen with festive treats. Cait and Diango need your help making hot chocolate and biscuits. You’ll need:
- Chocolate dust
- Bucket of milk
- Biscuits
If you’ve partially completed Recipe for Disaster, you can access the chest under Lumbridge Castle to acquire these items. Otherwise, buy them from the Grand Exchange or gather them yourself by milking a cow, cooking biscuits, and grinding a chocolate bar.
Determine the pixies’ preferences for specific biscuit and hot chocolate types:
Biscuits | Hot Chocolate |
---|---|
Gingerbread (2) | Milk (2) |
Chocolate Chip (2) | Dark (3) |
Shortbread (1) | White (0) |
Gather the required ingredients and return to Diango and Cait. Instead of talking to them, interact with the biscuit storage and hot chocolate storage near them to input the required amounts of each type.
Once stocked up, speak with Diango and Cait one last time to celebrate the start of Toy Production and complete RuneScape 3’s A Christmas Reunion quest!
