Celebrating an Unforgettable Evening with Home of Guiding Hands

The poker tournament was a highlight, drawing a talented crowd of forty players. We were proud to hold our own, with me achieving 4th place and Stephanie securing 7th. Congratulations to the top three winners: Tom Tamar, Cory Burke, and Jessica Hershey, for their impressive performance at the poker table. However, the true victory of the night belonged to Home of Guiding Hands and their mission.

Home of Guiding Hands stands as one of the largest organizations in San Diego and Imperial Counties providing crucial disability support services. Their commitment to improving the lives of individuals with special needs is truly inspiring. They are driven by a vision to be recognized as the premier provider of disability services in San Diego, offering a comprehensive and individualized spectrum of support. Learning more about their work deepened my appreciation for their impact on the community.

On a personal note, my wife and I are particularly eager to explore opportunities to collaborate with Home of Guiding Hands. As parents raising young children on the autism spectrum, we deeply understand both the joys and challenges that many families face. Discovering an organization so dedicated to providing support and guidance is incredibly meaningful.

I also want to extend a special thank you to Shai Garcia-Mays. From our first meeting, her unwavering passion and commitment to the mission of Home of Guiding Hands were evident. Shai, thank you for your dedicated service and for opening new avenues of understanding and support for my family.

Thank you once again to Home of Guiding Hands for hosting such an unforgettable evening. Your dedication to making a difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities and their families is truly commendable and deserves widespread recognition and support within the San Diego community and beyond.
