First, you’ll need to locate the daddy duck. He’s the key to initiating this heartwarming mission and will also provide you with a city map. Don’t worry about finding the ducklings blindly; their general locations will be marked on your map once you speak to the father duck. However, pinpointing their exact hiding spots is where this guide comes in handy!
Duckling Locations and How to Rescue Them
Luckily, you’ve found the right guide! Forget aimlessly wandering; we’ve detailed the precise locations and solutions to coax each duckling back to their dad. Once you find a duckling, there’s no need to manually carry them back. They will automatically follow you, forming an adorable little duckling train, until you’ve gathered all four and return them to their father.
Duckling 1: The Gamer Duckling
The first duckling isn’t far from daddy duck’s starting point. Head towards the video game store. You’ll find this little one completely engrossed in an arcade game, showing no signs of wanting to leave. To get its attention, you’ll need to use your feline agility. Climb the pipes located behind the arcade machine. At the top, you’ll find a tap. Turn this tap to create a short circuit, which will, unfortunately for the gamer duckling, break the arcade machine. With its game interrupted, the duckling will now be ready to follow you.
Duckling 2: The Supermarket Splash Duckling
Your next duckling is taking a bath in a puddle inside the local supermarket. You’ll find it splashing around on the floor. Look around the supermarket corner, and you’ll spot a fan that’s currently switched on. Your task is to move this fan. Reposition the fan so that it blows air towards the puddle where the duckling is playing. The gust of wind will be enough to “encourage” the duckling to leave its puddle and join your growing group.
Duckling 3: The Laundry Machine Duckling
For the third duckling, head to the laundry. You’ll notice it’s closed, but a resourceful kitty like you knows how to find a way in. Look for bushes growing against the wall of the laundry. Climb these bushes to reach an open window, your secret entrance. Inside, you’ll find the duckling trapped inside a washing machine! To rescue it, simply locate the red button on the washing machine and give it a tap. This will turn off the machine and free the duckling.
Duckling 4: The Rooftop Duckling
The last duckling is near the laundry, in a fruit store. Enter the fruit store through its open back door and you’ll find yourself in a closed alleyway. Your path to this duckling is upwards. Climb the boxes and air conditioning units stacked in the alley to reach the rooftop. The final duckling is stuck at the top, near an airflow fan. To save it, you need to move a tray. Push the tray onto the fan. This will redirect the airflow and allow you to reach and rescue the last duckling.
Reunite and Reward
Once you’ve gathered all four ducklings, the “Lost Ducklings” trophy will unlock! But the quest isn’t quite over. To get your promised reward, you need to return the duckling train back to their father. Lead your duckling followers back to daddy duck.
