When you encounter Skull Kid, use a bubble attack to knock the Ocarina of Time from him. Retrieve the Ocarina and you’ll remember the Song of Time. Play the Song of Time to return to the Dawn of the First Day. Now, enter the Clock Tower and speak with the unsettling Happy Mask Salesman. He will teach you the Song of Healing, and in exchange for your Deku form, he will grant you the Deku Mask. This mask allows you to transform into a Deku Scrub, granting you the ability to use Deku Flowers to launch yourself into the air, shoot bubbles, and skip across water.
Great Fairy Mask

At night, you can find the Stray Fairy in East Clock Town, near the treasure chest minigame building. Once you’ve found the Stray Fairy, it will follow you. Lead it to the Great Fairy Fountain located in North Clock Town. As a reward for reuniting the Stray Fairy, the Great Fairy will bestow upon you the Great Fairy Mask. When worn in dungeons, this mask will attract any Stray Fairies in the current room towards you, making it much easier to collect them and receive rewards from the Great Fairy Fountain in each dungeon.
Kafei’s Mask

Couple’s Mask

Bremen Mask

The Bremen Mask is relatively simple to obtain and can be found in the Laundry Pool area of Clock Town. Between 10 PM and 6 AM on either the First or Second Day, Guru-Guru, the traveling musician, will be sitting on a bench in the Laundry Pool.
Talk to Guru-Guru, and he will share his story and gift you the Bremen Mask. This mask has the ability to make animals, specifically chicks, follow you when you march while wearing it. Its primary use is to evolve the chicks at Romani Ranch into adult Cuccos to obtain the Bunny Hood.
Bunny Hood
Requirements: Bremen Mask
Where to Get it: Romani Ranch Chicken Coop
The Bunny Hood is an incredibly useful mask that significantly increases Link’s movement speed and jumping distance. To acquire it, you’ll first need the Bremen Mask. Romani Ranch becomes accessible on the Final Day by traveling through Milk Road in southwest Termina Field.
Once at Romani Ranch, head to the chicken coop located at the far end of the ranch, marked by a wooden wall with Cuccos painted on it. Inside the coop, wear the Bremen Mask and press and hold the B button to march. While marching, approach all ten of the small chicks (baby Cuccos) in the area. Keep marching until all ten chicks are following you. Once all ten chicks are following your march, they will transform into adult Cuccos. After this transformation, speak to Grog, the ranch hand in the coop, and he will reward you with the Bunny Hood.
Kamaro’s Mask
When to Get it: Nighttime on the First or Second Day
Where to Get it: North Termina Field, atop mushroom-shaped stones
Kamaro’s Mask is obtained by helping a spirit find peace in North Termina Field. On the First or Second Night, venture into North Termina Field. Locate Kamaro, who can be found dancing atop a mushroom-shaped rock formation.
He is troubled and unable to stop dancing. Play the Song of Healing for Kamaro. This will soothe his spirit, and as thanks, he will bequeath you Kamaro’s Mask. While this mask doesn’t offer any unique abilities for Link, wearing it allows you to teach Pamela’s father in Ikana Canyon a new dance, and it is also requested by the Rosa Sisters in Clock Town for their dance routine.
Blast Mask
Where to Get it: North Clock Town
When to Get it: Midnight on the First Day
The Blast Mask is a powerful mask that allows Link to create explosions at will, mimicking the function of bombs without consuming any. To obtain it, be in North Clock Town at midnight on the First Night.
At midnight, you will witness a thief (Sakura) attempting to rob the Bomb Shop owner’s mother. Intervene by chasing after the thief and attacking him with your sword. Successfully stopping the robbery will cause the grateful old woman to reward you with the Blast Mask as a token of her appreciation. Be cautious when using the Blast Mask, as the explosions will also damage Link if he is too close.
All-Night Mask
Requirements: Blast Mask
Where to Get it: Curiosity Shop in West Clock Town
When to Get it: After 10 PM on the Final Day
The All-Night Mask allows Link to stay awake even during events that would normally force him to sleep or fast-forward time. To get this mask, you must first have the Blast Mask and visit the Curiosity Shop in West Clock Town on the Final Night after 10 PM.
The Curiosity Shop will be having a special late-night sale. The owner will offer to sell you the All-Night Mask for a hefty sum of 500 Rupees. If you have saved up enough Rupees, purchase the All-Night Mask. This mask is essential for staying awake during specific timed events and can be particularly useful for experiencing the entirety of the Final Night without time constraints.
Mask of Truth
Requirements: Deku Stick/Fire Arrows, Rescue Koume from the Woods of Mystery/Have Bow & Arrows
Where to Get it: Fearful Spider House in Southern Swamp
The Mask of Truth grants Link the ability to understand the thoughts of animals and Gossip Stones, revealing helpful hints and secrets. Obtaining it requires a trip to the Southern Swamp and navigating the Fearful Spider House.
Travel to the Southern Swamp south of Clock Town. If you don’t have Fire Arrows, ensure you have a Deku Stick. If you also lack a bow and arrow, wear the Deku Mask to use the lily pads to reach the Magic Hag’s Potion Shop. Enter the Woods of Mystery behind the potion shop and follow the monkey to rescue Koume. Return to the potion shop for a free red potion, give it to Koume, and then you can get a free boat cruise in the wooden house in Southern Swamp which leads you closer to the Fearful Spider House. If you have the Bow and Arrow, you can directly navigate the lily pads and shoot the Octorok blocking the way.
Once past the Octorok, continue to an island with a dome-shaped building, the Fearful Spider House, with a spiderweb door. Burn the spiderweb door using a Fire Arrow or a lit Deku Stick from the nearby torch. Inside, defeat all the Gold Skulltulas within the Fearful Spider House. After exterminating all the spiders, speak to the transformed man at the entrance, and he will reward you with the Mask of Truth.
Mask of Scents
Requirements: Rescue the Deku Princess
How to Get it: Deku Palace
The Mask of Scents allows Link to detect hidden scents, primarily used to track mushrooms and locate hidden items. To obtain this mask, you need to progress through the Woodfall Temple and rescue the Deku Princess.
After defeating Odolwa, the Woodfall Temple boss, and returning the Deku Princess to the Deku Palace, go to the cave located next to the palace entrance. Inside, you will find the Deku Butler who challenges you to a race through a maze-like course. Follow the Deku Butler through the course, keeping pace with him until you reach the end. Upon completing the race, the Deku Butler will present you with the Mask of Scents.
Goron Mask
Requirements: Hero’s Bow, Lens of Truth
The Goron Mask is a transformation mask allowing Link to become a Goron, granting immense strength, the ability to roll at high speeds, and resistance to heat. To acquire it, venture to the Mountain Village north of Clock Town. You will need the Hero’s Bow to access this area by shooting down the icicles blocking the path.
From the entrance of Mountain Village, proceed as far northeast as you can. You will find the spirit of the fallen Goron hero, Darmani, unable to rest in peace. Use the Lens of Truth to see Darmani’s ghost. Speak to him, and he will implore you to heal his pain. Play the Song of Healing for Darmani’s spirit. This will soothe his soul, and he will transform into the Goron Mask. Wearing this mask transforms Link into Darmani, granting you access to Goron City and allowing you to progress in the Snowhead region.
Romani’s Mask
Requirements: Powder Keg
Where to Get it: Romani Ranch
The Romani’s Mask is obtained by protecting Romani Ranch from alien invaders and assisting Cremia with her milk delivery. First, you need to gain access to Powder Kegs. You can obtain a Powder Keg license by completing a test from a Goron in Goron Village.
After getting the license, purchase a Powder Keg from the Bomb Shop in West Clock Town (talk to the Goron while wearing the Goron Mask). Take the Powder Keg to Milk Road (southwest of Clock Town) before 6 PM on the First Day and use it to destroy the boulder blocking the entrance to Romani Ranch. Enter Romani Ranch and speak to Romani, the young girl in the center of the ranch. Agree to help her practice shooting “them.” Return to Romani’s Ranch before 2 AM on the First Night and defend the barn from aliens by shooting them down before they reach it. If you successfully protect the barn, return to Romani’s Ranch at 6 PM on the Second Day. Meet Cremia in front of the barn and agree to ride with her wagon to Clock Town. During the milk delivery, protect the wagon from Gorman Brothers’ thieves by defeating them before they break all the milk bottles. If at least one bottle remains intact, Cremia will reward you with Romani’s Mask. This mask allows you to enter the exclusive Latte Bar in East Clock Town.
Stone Mask
Requirements: Epona’s Song, Lens of Truth
Where to Get it: Ikana Valley
The Stone Mask makes Link nearly invisible to most enemies, making sneaking and avoiding combat much easier. To obtain it, travel to Ikana Valley east of Clock Town using Epona to jump over fences.
Once in Ikana Valley, go to the right from the cliff entrance to find a Circle of Stones. Use the Lens of Truth within this circle to reveal an invisible soldier named Shirahad standing in the center. Talk to Shirahad. He is a soldier who wishes to become visible to return to his comrades. He will give you the Stone Mask as a reward for seeing him, hoping it will help you in your journey.
Garo’s Mask
Requirements: Epona’s Song
Where to Get it: Gorman Brothers’ Racetrack in Milk Road
The Garo’s Mask is obtained by proving your equestrian skills at the Gorman Brothers’ Racetrack. After learning Epona’s Song, ride Epona to the Gorman Brothers’ Racetrack in Milk Road, located southwest of Termina Field.
Speak to the Gorman Brothers and challenge them to a horse race. You must win the race against both Gorman Brothers. If you successfully beat them, they will concede and award you the Garo’s Mask as a sign of respect for your riding prowess. Wearing the Garo’s Mask in Ikana Canyon will summon Garo warriors who will provide hints on how to navigate the area.
Captain’s Hat
Requirements: Epona’s Song
Where to Get it: Ikana Graveyard
When to Get it: First or Second Day
The Captain’s Hat allows Link to command Stalchildren in Ikana Graveyard, useful for solving puzzles and accessing new areas. Travel east from Clock Town to reach Ikana Valley, using Epona to cross the fences. Go left from the cliff to find Ikana Graveyard.
Proceed to the far end of the graveyard to find a large skeleton, Captain Keeta. Play the Sonata of Awakening to awaken Captain Keeta. Once awakened, Captain Keeta will challenge you. Defeat Captain Keeta by stunning him with arrows and then attacking with your sword while avoiding the Stalchildren he summons. After defeating him, the flames surrounding a treasure chest will disappear. Use the Hookshot or Bunny Hood to reach the chest and open it to obtain the Captain’s Hat.
Don Gero’s Mask
Requirements: Goron Mask
The Don Gero Mask is obtained by undertaking a delivery quest involving Rock Sirloin in the Goron Village. In the Mountain Village, inside the crying baby Goron’s room, you need to knock down a Rock Sirloin. You can do this by shooting a Fire Arrow at the chandelier to make it spin until the meat falls, or by lighting a Deku Stick and igniting all the torches in the room to start the chandelier spinning.
Once the Rock Sirloin falls, pick it up as Goron Link. You must then carry the Rock Sirloin all the way back to the Mountain Village, to the area where the Mountain Smithy is located, without taking damage from enemies, which will cause you to drop it. Find the Hungry Goron standing on a ledge near the Smithy. Throw the Rock Sirloin onto the ledge for the Hungry Goron to eat. In return for the meal, the Hungry Goron will give you the Don Gero Mask. This mask allows you to communicate with frogs and conduct the Frog Choir.
Zora Mask
Requirements: Epona’s Song
The Zora Mask is a transformation mask that turns Link into a Zora, enabling him to swim rapidly underwater, breathe underwater indefinitely, and use Zora boomerangs. To get it, enter the Great Bay area west of Clock Town while riding Epona.
In the waters of Great Bay, you will find a wounded Zora, Mikau, struggling in the water. Swim behind him and push him towards the shore, onto the beach. Once Mikau is on the beach, talk to him again. He will ask you to heal his pain. Play the Song of Healing for Mikau. His spirit will be at peace, and he will transform into the Zora Mask. Wearing this mask allows you to transform into Mikau and navigate the Great Bay region with ease.
Circus Leader’s Mask
Requirements: Deku Mask, Goron Mask, Zora Mask, Romani’s Mask
When to Get it: After 10 PM on the First or Second Day
Where to Get it: Latte Bar in East Clock Town
The Circus Leader’s Mask, also known as the Troupe Leader’s Mask, is obtained by performing for Toto, the manager of the Indigo-Go’s band, at the Latte Bar. You must have the Romani Mask to enter the Latte Bar after 10 PM.
Wear the Romani Mask and enter the Latte Bar in East Clock Town after 10 PM. Go up onto the stage and talk to Toto. He will ask you to play musical notes in different forms. You need to perform for him as Human Link, Deku Link, Goron Link, and Zora Link, following his instructions for each form. After you have successfully played for him in all four forms, Toto will reward you with the Circus Leader’s Mask. This mask is primarily used to recruit the Indigo-Go’s band members to help you in the Zora Hall.
Gibdo Mask
Requirements: Epona’s Song, Garo Mask, Hookshot, Captain’s Hat, Ice Arrows, Song of Storms
Where to Get it: Music Box House in Ikana Canyon
The Gibdo Mask allows Link to befriend Gibdos and ReDeads, making them passive and even helpful in Ikana Canyon. To obtain it, you must first make the river in Ikana Canyon flow again by playing the Song of Storms at the windmill.
After restoring the river, sneak into the Music Box House while Pamela is outside (wearing the Stone Mask can help). Go down to the basement and approach the colorful closet. Inside, you will find Pamela’s father, who has transformed into a Gibdo. Play the Song of Healing for Pamela’s father. This will cure him of his Gibdo curse, and Pamela will give you the Gibdo Mask as thanks.
Giant’s Mask
Requirements: Elegy of Emptiness, Light Arrows
Where to Get it: Stone Tower Temple
The Giant’s Mask is exclusively used within the boss battle of the Stone Tower Temple. It transforms Link into a giant, making him incredibly powerful but also immobile. To acquire it, you must progress through the Stone Tower Temple until you reach the boss room.

After collecting all other masks and defeating all dungeon bosses, play the Oath to Order on top of the Clock Tower after midnight on the Final Night to summon the Moon. Enter the Moon and interact with the Moon Children playing there. Give all of your masks (except transformation masks) to the Moon Children in exchange for entering their mini-dungeons. Complete all of their mini-dungeons. Finally, speak to the child wearing Majora’s Mask sitting under the tree in the center of the Moon. He will reward you with the Fierce Deity’s Mask. This mask is incredibly potent, making boss battles significantly easier, and is a testament to your dedication to collecting every mask in Termina.
