Understanding the MapleStory Legion Artifact System
The MapleStory Legion Artifact System provides temporary stat enhancements, lasting for 30 days, across all characters within your account. You can extend these beneficial effects by using Artifact Points, which are earned through participation in Artifact Missions.
To access the Legion Artifact interface, navigate to the main menu in MapleStory, select Manage Legion, and then click on the Artifact Tab located on the side of the Legion UI.

- Artifact Level: This reflects the progression of your Legion Artifact system. Increase it by completing Artifact Missions and accumulating Artifact EXP.

As you enhance the Crystal Level, the potency of these stats also increases. Each individual bonus has a maximum level of 10. If you assign the same stat across multiple crystals, their levels are cumulative, but the total level for any single stat cannot exceed 10.
You begin with 3 unlocked Crystal Slots. As your Artifact Level progresses, you unlock additional slots, expanding your capacity for bonuses.
Your Artifact Level directly corresponds to the Artifact EXP you accumulate from Legion Artifact Missions.
Exploring MapleStory Legion Artifact Bonuses
The Legion Artifact Bonuses offer a wide range of stat enhancements that can be applied to your unlocked crystals. Each stat can be leveled up to a maximum of level 10.
Since each Crystal has a level cap of 5, achieving max level (10) for a specific stat requires utilizing multiple Level 5 Crystals dedicated to that stat.

Managing MapleStory Legion Artifact Crystals
The Legion Artifact system provides a total of 9 Crystal Slots. You start with 3 slots at Artifact Level 1, and unlock all 9 slots by reaching Artifact Level 60.
- Artifact Level 1: 3 Crystal Slots
- Artifact Level 10: 4 Crystal Slots
- Artifact Level 20: 5 Crystal Slots
- Artifact Level 30: 6 Crystal Slots
- Artifact Level 40: 7 Crystal Slots
- Artifact Level 50: 8 Crystal Slots
- Artifact Level 60: 9 Crystal Slots
Each Artifact Crystal has an initial duration of 30 days. You can extend this duration for another 30 days using Artifact Points.
Once a Crystal expires, the Artifact Bonuses associated with it will be deactivated until you renew its duration. Expired Crystals are not removed from your inventory.
Right-clicking on a Crystal will reveal three key options:
- Convert Stats: Allows you to change the Artifact Bonuses assigned to the crystal. This action costs 500 Artifact Points.
- Level Up Rank: Increases the Crystal’s Level, thereby enhancing the stat bonuses it provides. This requires Artifact AP.
- Extend Duration: Renews the Crystal’s active period for an additional 30 days, costing 470 Artifact Points.
To maximize a Crystal to Level 5, the total Artifact AP cost is 8:
- Level 1 to Level 2: 1 AP
- Level 2 to Level 3: 2 AP
- Level 3 to Level 4: 2 AP
- Level 4 to Level 5 (MAX): 3 AP
You have the option to reset all of your Crystals and their assigned stats for 500 Artifact Points, offering flexibility in managing your bonuses.
