While each individual bonus on a crystal has a max level of 5, combining the same bonus across multiple crystals allows you to reach a maximum stat level of 10 for each bonus type.
You start with 3 unlocked Crystal Slots, with additional slots unlocking as your Artifact Level progresses. Reaching Artifact Level 60 unlocks all 9 Crystal Slots, maximizing your potential stat boosts.
Your Artifact Level directly increases by gaining Artifact EXP from completing various Legion Artifact Missions.

Mastering MapleStory Legion Artifact Crystals
The Legion Artifact system features a total of 9 Crystal Slots. You begin with 3 slots at Artifact Level 1, unlocking more as you progress. Unlocking all slots requires reaching Artifact Level 60.

- Level Up Rank: Increases the Crystal’s level, enhancing its stat bonuses. Requires Artifact AP.
- Extend Duration: Renews the crystal’s duration for another 30 days. Costs 470 Artifact Points.
