Today’s Wordle Answer Revealed
So, what is the Wordle answer for game #1,341?
The answer is MADLY.
Greetings, Wordle players! Today’s puzzle proved to be quite challenging, with only two letters, ‘A’ and ‘L’, appearing in the list of the ten most common Wordle letters, as detailed by Tom’s Guide.
This meant that even using a strong starting word like ORATE, which includes the top five most common letters, only yielded a single yellow ‘A’. This left a staggering 161 potential solutions.
However, WordleBot’s best Wordle start words, as highlighted by Tom’s Guide, would have performed significantly better. Words like SLIDE narrow it down to just 20 possibilities, while TABLE reduces it further to 11. Starting with DEALT would have left only four options.
My second guess, NAILS, aimed to incorporate ‘L’, ‘I’, ‘S’, ‘N’, and ‘C’, which are often effective follow-up letters. This proved to be a strong move, turning both ‘A’ and ‘L’ green and reducing the possible solutions to just five, according to WordleBot.
My next attempt, DALLY, was also productive, turning ‘Y’ green and ‘D’ yellow, indicating the pattern ?ADLY.
At this point, two likely options emerged: BADLY and MADLY. I initially guessed incorrectly with BADLY, but thankfully, this made my fifth and final guess of MADLY straightforward.
Hopefully, your Wordle journey today was smoother than mine! See you again tomorrow for the next puzzle.
Yesterday’s Wordle Answer
Are you reading this in a different time zone? The Wordle answer for game #1,340 was INDIE.
Yesterday’s Wordle puzzle, #1,340, presented a slightly tricky challenge. Only 34 Wordle answers begin with the letter ‘I’, and in this case, ‘I’ appeared twice in the solution!
Furthermore, ‘I’ is not among the five most common Wordle letters, according to Tom’s Guide’s analysis. This meant my usual starting word, ORATE, which avoids ‘I’, only revealed a green ‘E’, leaving a daunting 101 possible answers still in play.
Again, WordleBot’s best Wordle start words would have been a better approach. For example, PLANE would have narrowed it down to 36 answers, and CRANE to just 24. Opening with TRIED would have left only ten possibilities.
For my second guess, I typically like to incorporate a mix of ‘L’, ‘I’, ‘S’, ‘N’, and ‘C’ around the letters already confirmed.
With only a green ‘E’ from my first guess, I chose SLICE. Although it only added a yellow ‘I’, it still reduced the potential answers to nine, according to WordleBot.
Next, I tried IMBUE, which turned ‘I’ green but didn’t reveal any other new letters.
However, this narrowed down the options significantly, leading me to the correct answer after a moment of consideration: INDIE!
We hope you fared well with yesterday’s Wordle. Join us again tomorrow for a new puzzle.

Wordle Tips — Strategies for Success
The most impactful advice for Wordle is to utilize one of the best Wordle start words, as consistently recommended by Tom’s Guide. This cannot be overstated – it significantly enhances your game.
Without a strategic starting word, you’re essentially guessing blindly, attempting to identify the correct letters (or fewer) from 26 possibilities. Experts have mathematically determined the most effective starting words based on letter frequency in English and within Wordle answers. Leverage this research to your advantage!
Secondly, consider letter combinations, especially at the beginning and end of words. Common pairings like SH, ST, CR, and CH appear frequently.
Vowels are also crucial. While not every Wordle answer contains multiple vowels, many do, and some even include three. A well-chosen starting word should incorporate a couple of vowels. If they don’t appear in your initial guess, prioritize them in your subsequent attempts. Also, remember ‘Y’ – it often acts as a vowel and is easily overlooked, frequently appearing at the end of words.
Finally, experiment with possibilities. As long as you don’t press ‘Enter’, you can test potential answers on the screen. Input likely letters along with any confirmed letters, then mentally swap out letters to explore different options. This technique has proven helpful, especially for less common words.
