Step-by-Step Cataclysm Classic Tailoring Leveling Guide
Leveling Tailoring: 1 – 75
For this initial phase of tailoring cata guide, you’ll need approximately 59x Coarse Thread. These can be easily purchased from any Tailoring Supplies vendor located near your Tailoring trainer. A helpful tip for buying in bulk from vendors: use SHIFT + MOUSE CLICK and then type in the desired quantity. Keep in mind that the maximum stack size for threads is 20 and for dyes is 10.
It’s advisable not to buy all threads and dyes at once to manage your inventory space effectively, especially as you’ll be crafting items and accumulating more materials. The required dyes and threads will be listed separately for each leveling section in this tailoring cata guide.
- Skill Level 40 – 67: Craft 35x Linen Belt. These require: 35 Bolt of Linen Cloth, 35 Coarse Thread.
Journeyman Tailoring (Skill Level 75)
Once you reach skill level 75, visit your Tailoring trainer and learn Journeyman Tailoring. This upgrade requires your character to be at least level 10.
