To enhance voter accessibility and participation, California offers multiple convenient ways to cast your ballot. Here are key dates and voting options for the 2024 election:
- Ballot Mailing: By October 7, 2024, every registered voter in California will receive their ballot by mail.
- Mail-in Ballot Return: You can return your completed ballot using the provided postage-paid envelope. Ensure it is postmarked on or before Election Day, November 5, 2024, and received by your county elections office within 7 days following Election Day.
- Early Voting: Early voting commences on October 7, 2024. Contact your county elections office for early voting locations and schedules.
- Ballot Drop-off Locations: Secure ballot drop-off locations will be available no later than October 8, 2024.
