Unlocking all the achievements in When The Past Was Around can be a delightful journey. This guide provides a step-by-step walkthrough to help you achieve 100% completion.
Memories
Your journey begins in the Memories area.
Action: Turn on all the lights in the room. This is a simple task but necessary to progress.
Rooftop
The Rooftop area contains several key achievements.
Action 1: Click on the clothesline to hang all the clothes.
Achievement: Sound of Silence
Action 2: Go to the left side of the rooftop and turn off the radio. This will unlock the Sound of Silence achievement.
Achievement: 1915
Action 3: Interact with the safe on the rooftop and input the code 1915. This will unlock the 1915 achievement.
Action 4: Find and take the detergent located on the left side of the rooftop.
Action 5: Pick up the red bucket near the washing machine.
Action 6: Fill the bucket with water from the tap.
Action 7: Take the scarf and place it inside the washing machine. Then, add the water and detergent to the washing machine as well.
Action 8: Close the washing machine and turn it on. Allow it to run for a short period.
Action 9: Refill the red bucket with water again.
Action 10: On the table, you’ll find a JNE JNX Package and a Red Book placed on the chair.
Action 11: The first code you need is represented by the symbols: ■ ●▲ ● ■. A helpful way to remember this is to visualize it as an owl face or “UwU.”
Action 12: Inside the Red Book, you’ll discover different photos, each associated with a number. The corresponding musical symbols are as follows:
- 1 = 𝄞
- 2 = 𝅘𝅥
- 3 = 𝅗𝅥
- 4 = ♫
- 5 = 𝅘𝅥𝅮
- 6 = 𝄇
Focus on remembering 𝅘𝅥 𝅗𝅥 ♫ because 𝄞 is always at the beginning, and 𝄇 is the default ending symbol.
Action 13: Return to the Washing Machine and retrieve the scarf.
Action 14: Examine the blanket and identify the number of each item: Owl, Butterfly, Broom, and Bird.
- Owl = 1
- Butterfly = 9
- Broom = 3
- Birds = 5
Action 15: Now Input 1935 on the safe.
Garden
The Garden area is crucial for story progression.
Action 1: Find and take a pill.
Action 2: Go to the left side of the garden and input the musical sequence: 𝄞 𝅘𝅥 𝅗𝅥 ♫ 𝅘𝅥𝅮 𝄇
Action 3: Take a seed and plant it in the empty pot in the middle of the garden. Water the seed using the bucket.
Action 4: Give both the pill and the flower to the owl.
Hallway
The Hallway presents several puzzles.
Action 1: Interact with the trash can located on the right side of the hallway.
Action 2: Input the number sequence 13 12 15 into the electrical meter and turn it on.
Action 3: Find the Garden Shovel at the bottom right of the hallway and take it.
Action 4: Return to the table located on the left side of the hallway.
Action 5: You must arrange all the bird figures from the right side to the left side, and all the owl figures from the left side to the right side. Click in the following order, starting from left to right and bottom: Owl 1 > Bird 1 > Bird 2>Owl 1 > Owl 2 > Owl 3>Bird 1 > Bird 2 > Bird 3>Owl 1 > Owl 2 > Owl 3>Bird 2 > Bird 3 > Owl 3.
Action 6: Take the Black Cube, go to the far left, hang a clothes, then take the Cutter from the blue shirt.
Action 7: Return to the garden and use the Garden Shovel to dig.
Action 8: You will find a cookies box. The puzzle to open this box is random. You can figure it out it’s easy you got this!
Action 9: Open it and as expected there is no cookies in the cookies box Dammit!!
Action 10: Take the Black Circle and return to the Rooftop.
Action 11: Open the Jnx Package using the cutter.
Drag 1 to the top, 2 to the bottom and leave it one square, 3 to the right, 4 to the top, 5 to the far right, 4 to the bottom, 6 to the bottom, 3 to the left, flower to the bottom.
Action 12: Take the Black Cone and return to the locked door in the hallway.
Action 13: Click on the door and put all the black shapes in the door.
