However, according to Edelstein’s interviews, Season 4 primarily focuses on Abby’s relationship with Barbara. She emphasized that the show explores female friendships and delves into their complexities and challenges, shifting the focus away from solely romantic entanglements.
Whether Will’s role will be limited to managing the connection between Lady Parts and the eccentric influencer Temple Hampton, or if the season will explore a renewed romantic connection between Abby and Will remains to be seen. While his reintroduction is an intriguing aspect of the season premiere, it seems that female friendships will take center stage in Girlfriends’ Guide To Divorce Season 4.
