Convert Large Prismatic Shard into three Small Prismatic Shard and back again. Only the Large to Small shard conversion benefits from the racial skill. This means you have a chance to gain skill-ups roughly half the time as the reverse conversion won’t provide skill points. The recipe will be grey, and skill-ups are not guaranteed per craft. It may take 10-15 minutes to gain these 10 skill points.
