Participating in MoP Remix is straightforward. You only need an active World of Warcraft subscription. Even trial accounts can join until Level 20, with the option to subscribe for continued leveling.
To create your Timerunner character, simply navigate to the Mists of Pandaria: Remix tab in your game client.

The only exceptions are Timeless Isle, Isle of Giants, and Isle of Thunder, where flying is restricted. Utilize flying to drastically cut down travel time and speed up your questing efficiency.

Timerunners After the Event: What Happens Next?
Don’t worry about losing your Timerunner! When the MoP Remix event concludes on August 19, 2024, all your Timerunner characters will convert into standard characters on your regular World of Warcraft account. You can continue playing them in The War Within expansion and beyond! Leveling a Timerunner now is an excellent way to prepare a new character for future content.
Limitations of WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria
Be aware of these limitations within the MoP Remix event:
- Auction House Disabled: Timerunners cannot use the Auction House. Trade and rely on event-specific vendors and drops.
- Professions Unavailable: Traditional professions are not accessible in MoP Remix. Gear and consumables are primarily obtained through event mechanics.
- No Cross-Realm Grouping: Timerunners can only group with other Timerunners, not players on standard realms.
- Pandaria Locked: Timerunners are confined to the Pandaria zones.
