Leveling Basics in MoP Remix
Upon entering the game with your Timerunner, you’ll begin a brief introductory questline. This questline is crucial as it familiarizes you with essential MoP Remix mechanics:
- Bronze Currency: You’ll be introduced to Bronze, the primary currency used for gear upgrades, cosmetics, and more within the event.
- Gear Upgrading System: Learn how to enhance your gear using Bronze to boost your power as you level.
- Cloak of Infinite Potential: You’ll receive the Cloak of Infinite Potential, a unique item that grows in power as you collect Threads throughout your leveling journey.
Timerunning Abilities: Extract Gem and Unraveling Sands
Timerunners gain access to two unique abilities that are vital for efficient leveling and resource management:
- Extract Gem: This ability allows you to extract gems from socketed gear. Gems are a significant source of power in MoP Remix, and extracting them lets you reuse or upgrade them.
- ** Bronze.
Bronze: The Key Currency for Leveling and Rewards
Bronze is the lifeblood of MoP Remix. It’s essential for upgrading your gear, purchasing cosmetic items, mounts, pets, and toys from the Infinite Bazaars. Efficient Bronze acquisition is key to a smooth leveling experience.
Here’s how you can obtain Bronze:
- Mob and Boss Kills: Defeating enemies throughout Pandaria will reward you with Bronze. Higher level or rarer enemies generally drop more Bronze.
- Scrapping Gear: Utilize Unraveling Sands on unwanted gear to convert it into a substantial amount of Bronze. This is a crucial method for consistent Bronze income.
- Dungeons, Raids, and Scenarios: Completing these instances provides significant Bronze rewards, especially for first-time completions each day.
- Quest Caches: Opening quest reward caches like Minor Bronze Cache, Lesser Bronze Cache, Bronze Cache, and Greater Bronze Cache will grant you varying amounts of Bronze.
- Level 70 Reward: Upon reaching Level 70, you will receive a substantial sum of 40,000 Bronze. This reward is account-wide, benefiting your alts as well. Look for the purple quest icon on your map to claim this bonus.

- Zone Hopping (20-70): Move through zones based on your level range, completing key questlines in each. Valley of the Four Winds, Kun-Lai Summit, Townlong Steppes, Dread Wastes, and Vale of Eternal Blossoms offer a smooth progression.
- Dungeon and Scenario Queues: Queue for dungeons and scenarios while questing. They provide substantial experience and Bronze, breaking up the monotony of questing and offering faster leveling in certain level brackets.
- Raids (Level Appropriate): Once you reach the appropriate level, participating in raids can be a significant source of experience and gear. However, focus on questing and dungeons for the fastest leveling to 70. Raids become more relevant at higher levels and for gear progression.
Flying in MoP Remix: Dragonriding and Standard Flying
Yes! Enjoy the freedom of flight from the moment you create your Timerunner. Both Dragonriding and standard flying are instantly available. The only exceptions are Timeless Isle, Isle of Giants, and Isle of Thunder, where flying is restricted. Utilize flying to drastically cut down travel time and speed up your questing efficiency.
Infinite Bazaars: Your One-Stop Shop for Rewards
As you accumulate Bronze, visit Infinite Bazaars scattered throughout Pandaria. These bazaars are your gateway to purchasing cosmetics, mounts, pets, and toys. Knowing bazaar locations is essential for spending your hard-earned Bronze.
Infinite Bazaar Locations:
- Jade Forest — Tian Monastery
- Valley of the Four Winds — Halfhill Market
- Kun-Lai Summit — Temple of the White Tiger
- Townlong Steppes — Niuzao Temple
